The end of the phone tree: a status page for shift crews

When the weather turns or a line goes down, someone has to tell the crew. For most plants that still means a phone tree, a call-in line, and hoping people see the TV crawl.

What goes wrong with the phone tree

  • It takes one person an hour of calls, early in the morning, while they are also trying to run the day.
  • The contact list was last updated a year ago, so some people never hear.
  • The call-in weather line and the local TV station's page each need their own login and their own update.
  • Everyone gets a slightly different version of what was said.

What replaces it

Your company gets one link that always shows the real status: Open, Partially open, or Closed, with a short note like “Second shift starts at 4 PM.” A supervisor changes it from a phone in about ten seconds. People who signed up, and that you approved, get an email right away, and a text message on the text plans.

  • Change your status once, from your phone or the floor.
  • Pick which groups to alert, like managers only or the whole crew, and see how many people it will reach before you send.
  • Anyone can check the page at any time, with no login.
  • Employees can ask their AI assistant instead of opening a link.

Who it is for

Small and mid-size manufacturers, and anyone who runs shifts: plants, machine shops, schools, churches, food trucks, and more.
